Kim Talbot (Wexler)
Kim started her career in Event planning, fund-raising and PR over 17
years ago. Her career path was altered after her daughter recovered from
being critically ill at Toronto’s renowned Hospital for Sick Children. Kim’s
gratitude and passion for the hospital inspired her to create her first
charity/celebrity fundraising event for the doctors and departments that
cared for her daughter. Kim marched into the office of the President of Sick
Children’s hospital at the time and announced her plans to Mr. Michael
Strofolino who believed in her and to this day she is eternally grateful to
him.
What followed was the organization and execution of a wide range of events
that included implementing and obtaining sponsorship for Celebrity Golf
Events, Olympic Launch parties, Film Festival events, Incentive travel,
Weddings, conferences and special engagements for elite clientele. For many
years Kim ran her own independent company in Toronto, Canada before
relocating to Los Angeles in 2009.
Kim's resume includes letters of endorsement from such varied sources as
Make-A Wish Foundation, MS Society, Former President Bill Clinton, Golf
Champion John Daly, Larry King, Ronald McDonald Charity, Roots Canada,
